Severe Weather
At The BreatheWell Group, your safety is our top priority. In the event of severe weather, we strongly encourage clients to switch to virtual appointments to ensure continuity of care while minimizing risks. Virtual Coaching has proven to be an effective and convenient option for myofunctional evaluations and/or follow up sessions, allowing us to provide the same high-quality care without requiring travel during hazardous conditions.
1
Why Virtual is the Best Option on Severe Weather Days
-
Safety First: Avoid the risks of traveling in severe weather while still receiving care.
-
Convenient & Effective: Virtual sessions work just as well as in-person visits when we’re prepared. See how we make virtual seamless on our website: Virtual Coaching Info.
-
Keep Your Schedule: Switching to virtual allows you to keep your appointment without disruption.

What to Expect on Severe Weather Days
If severe weather is expected, our staff will send an email or text offering virtual coaching as the preferred option. We will provide flexibility to accommodate your schedule and preferences.
Here’s how we’ll work together:
-
Virtual First: We encourage all clients to opt for a virtual session instead of coming into the office.
-
Rescheduling If Needed: If virtual isn’t an option, we can move your appointment to another day during the same week if there is an opening..
-
Your Input Matters: You’ll receive a communication asking about your preferences and availability. Please respond with the following:
-
Would you like to switch to a virtual appointment?
-
What hours are you available for a rescheduled virtual appointment today?
-
If not today, would you prefer to reschedule for another day?
-
Rate your urgency level (1-10) to help us prioritize care.
-
Let us know if there’s anything else we should consider about your schedule or situation.
